“Supporting the MYSP is an important way of continuing Mr. De Frank's legacy, and the unsurpassed educational opportunity the organization provides for young people. I would not be the musician and human being I am today without having had that experience and will always be grateful for the skills learned and friendships made over those six years.”

— Michelle Pellay Walker, Memphis Symphony Musician & MYSP Alum

“The MYSP has been an important part of my life. It has taught me not only things about making music and art with my peers, but has taught me about leadership, and working in a team, and has given me skills that I can use for the rest of my life.”

— Russell Wolfe, MYSP Student

“The MYSP has helped me grow as a musician and make new friends. It has also encouraged me to be a leader, work harder, and be more creative. I love this program so much!”

— Natania Middleton, Current MYSP Student
