Jason Yasinsky is a practicing attorney and freelance trombonist, as well as a MYSP alum. A graduate of Overton High School’s Creative and Performing Arts program, he has been a proud member of the Memphis musical community for over 40 years.

Mr. Yasinsky attended Loyola University New Orleans, where he studied Music and Political Science. After a brief yet meaningful tenure as an elementary school music teacher in Metairie, LA, he returned to Memphis in 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and has practiced law in Memphis for the past 15 years. He currently serves as Senior Counsel for FedEx Corporation, working in the Legal Marketing, Intellectual Property, and Communications areas of practice.

Mr. Yasinsky has been fortunate to perform with a multitude of talented artists, both as a live musician and recording artist. He is an active member of the Memphis Jazz Orchestra, Mighty Souls Brass Band, Love Light Orchestra, and New Memphis Hepcats, as well as the many other iterations and combinations of Memphis musicians that make up these organizations.
