Why Sandy serves on the MYSP Board:
”I believe in the power of music to both connect and heal us and am grateful for the opportunity to support the Memphis Youth Symphony Program in doing that for the young people in our community.”
Sandy Bromley has an extensive background in community and interpersonal violence prevention and intervention efforts. She currently serves as the Director of the Division of Community Services, overseeing a wide variety of social services and justice programs that work to address the underlying conditions for well-being and justice. Sandy previously served as the Deputy Director for the Division of Community Services as well as the director of the Shelby County Crime Victims & Rape Crisis Center, a comprehensive victim service center providing crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, and forensic nursing services to victims of crime in Memphis and Shelby County. Sandy believes in the power of music to both connect and heal us and is grateful for the opportunity to support the Memphis Youth Symphony Program in doing that for the young people in our community.
