The MYSP is growing, and we’re excited to welcome two new members to our team! MYSP is currently accepting applications for a part-time Programming Coordinator and a Music Librarian.
These positions play an important role in supporting our students, conductors, and programs and helping ensure that MYSP rehearsals, concerts, and educational activities run smoothly throughout the season.

MYSP Music Librarian
The Memphis Youth Symphony Program (MYSP) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Music Librarian to support the preparation, organization, and management of music for MYSP’s ensembles. This role is essential to ensuring that conductors, coaches, and students have accurate, well-prepared music materials for rehearsals and performances throughout the season.
The Music Librarian works collaboratively with MYSP staff, conductors, and other program personnel to prepare and distribute music, maintain MYSP’s music library, and support the smooth operation of rehearsals, concerts, and other program activities.

MYSP Programming Coordinator
The Memphis Youth Symphony Program (MYSP) is seeking an organized, proactive, and collaborative Programming Coordinator to support the coordination and successful operation of MYSP’s regular-season ensemble programs, rehearsals, concerts, and summer programs. This role is essential to ensuring that program schedules, logistics, communication, and on-site operations are well-organized and that students, conductors, faculty, and staff have the support they need for programs to run smoothly.
The Programming Coordinator works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Operations Manager, conductors, faculty, and other program personnel while taking primary responsibility for Sunday rehearsal operations and regular-season program logistics and serving as the lead logistics coordinator for MYSP concerts and summer programs.
